| King Arthur's Round Table 14.5 x 29 in acrylic, gouache and watercolor, 1992. King Arthur was called the last king of authentic Celtic Briton heritage, because after he died c.536 AD the tide of invading Saxons, Jutes, Angles was never thereafter stemmed. This scene shows the gathering at the famous table and although only the edge is visible, the "RoundTable" is more about the fellowship engendered by Arthur and his Chivalric code than about the furniture. | |
