Aglaia (Charm), Thalia (Beauty), and Euphrosyne (Joy), three of Zeus' innumerable daughters are depicted as a zoomorphic design with human forms and showing the Celtic habit of often double-stranding the pathways. While it's true that most Celts revered the Norse gods they were also great traders and evidence of frequent contact with ancient Greece is extant. This arrangement recalls the triskelion that makes up the arms of the Isle of Man, UK. |
